  • National Honors Society combined social and service project this Friday the 26th! Come for food and fun right after school in the little theater to get to know everyone and get hours in.
  • Book Club is today Wednesday, Oct 24th we’ll be discussing our mystery/horror books and solving a mystery.
  • Please bring  First your permission slip, second your receipt for club dues, and three your lunch!
  • The Chamber choir is putting on a DISNEY CONCERT! It will be happening this Friday and Saturday the 26th and 27th. Tickets are $5 for students, $7 for adults and $25 for families. See a choir member for tickets or buy them at the door for $2 extra. The concert starts at 7:30 both nights.
  • Lone Peak Wrestling, if you are interested or thought about wrestling this year for Lone Peak, please go to room 905 and speak to Coach Wallace about the information packet for wrestling.   • Lone Peak Wrestling, If you are interested or thought about wrestling this year for Lone Peak, please go to room 905 and speak to Coach Wallace about the information packet for wrestling. Wrestling practice begins Monday, November 5th. If you have questions, contact Coach Wallace. The wrestlers also want to wish the best of luck this week to the Football team. Go Knights!

  • Sign up for the November on-line Lone Peak Driver’s Ed. course. Go to the Lone Peak home page, click on “Resources”, then the Drivers Ed. tab. Remember you work at your pace throughout the month of November.

  • Tonight come to the volleyball game vs. PG. @ 6:00 pm. This also cunts for one hour of attendance school. It is the dig pink game to support caner research.
  • your lady knights soccer team is playing today in the semi-final game against syracuse up at Juan Diego high school. Come ride the spirit bus and cheer the team to victory!! The cost is $5 and pizza is provided. To ride the bus pay before the end of lunch. It will cost an extra $5 more to get into the game. Bus leaves at 3:30

  • There will be an honor society meeting at lunch in the little theater on October 10th. All members need to wear their honor society shirts.
  • Pre-med and HOSA club meeting today at lunch in Paskett’s room 901 in the trailer. You can still join if you are interested in a medical career. See you there!
  • Come to french club Thursday Oct. 11 in room 912 in the trailer. We will be voting for french club officers and receiving permission slips.
  • Come see lone peak boys compete in Sir Knight Oct. 11th! There will be dancing , music, and fun!
  • The lone Peak Mountain bike team raced at cedar city over the weekend. The Lone peak team took first place! we are undefeated South Region champions! We will be competing in st. George in two weeks to defend our state championship. Here are the podium results. Varsity Boys: 5 JJ Payne. Varsity Girls: 1 Hadley Peay, 2 Hattie ransom, 3 Giselle Slemboski. JV Boys: 1 Packer Eager, 2 Devin Stephenson, 5 Jacob Vallejo, 10 Bowman Johnson. JV Girls: 1 Sydney Nielsen, 2 Cassidy Nielsen. Sophomore Boys: 4 Kai Francom, 5 Alex Aagard, 7 Ty dowdle, 9 Jacob Slemboski. Sophomore Girls: 3 Alisha Bacon.

  • Come see Lone Peak boys compete in Sir Knight Oct. 11th! There will be dancing, music, and fun!
  • Good Luck at Region and Congrats to the Girls XC team who are now Ranked 2nd in the Nation!
  • For all those accepted into National Honor Society, there is a mandatory induction ceremony tonight at 6:30 in the auditorium. Parents are invited. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

  • Anyone going to New York for the All-American Film Festival, There is a mandatory meeting today during lunch in DTOP’S room. Please be prompt!
  • Juniors, If you perform well on standardize tests and would like to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship, consider taking the PSAT test on Oct 10, Sign up by paying $20 in the finance office from Wednesday, Sept. 26, until Oct.8, or until the test sells out. If you have questions, see Mrs.Tucker in the Career Center.
  • Sophomores, you will be taking the PreACT on Tuesday, Oct 2, Room assignments are now posted in the Attendance Office windows. Please find your room assignment today! On test day, bring several #2 pencils and an ACT approved calculator. For a list of approved calculators, see the flyer on the attendance room window. Juniors + Seniors will have a half day- Look on Social Media as the Web site for the sell schedule
  • There is a Chess tournament starting Monday, Oct 1st through Friday, Oct 5th. Sign-ups are in   Mr. Ruchti’s room- room 803. Bring your friends to compete!

  • Are you wondering what career field is right for you? Do you want to practice for the ACT? Come take the ASVAB test. It is free. It will be held October 2nd at 10:45. Sign up in the counseling office.
  • There is a new driver education course starting on October 1st. Sign up for the class and range at LPDriverEducation.blogspot.com. Make sure you also pay in the finance office or online. If your birthday is coming up between now and Thanksgiving break, this class is the one for you!

  • Congratulations to the Lone Peak marching knights who placed first at the Nebo Tournament of Bands winning the outstanding music and visual awards. The band will be competing at Utah State University on Saturday.
  • The Lone Peak Mountain biking Team took first place in their second race of the season. The following riders podiumed: Varsity Girls-Hadley Peay, Hattie Ransom, Giselle Slemboski. JV Girls-Sydney Nielson, Isabelle Glasglow, Cassidy Nelson. JV Boys-Packer Eagar, Boman Johnson, Devin Stephensen. Sophomore Girls-Alisha Bacon. Sophomore Boys-Kai Francom, Ty Dowdle. Freshman Girls-Claire Slemboski, Saige Lawrence, Lilly Watts. Freshman Boys-Jacob Brinton, Tanner Purles.

Picture retakes will only be done during 1st and 2nd periods so plan accordingly. Check in with your teachers first and they will release you to come down to the auditorium.
