"A Time to Dream: College Exploration for Sophomore Girls" will be held at UVU on November 17 from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. It is hosted by Dr. Susan Madsen with special guest speaker Christie Garton, creator of the 1000 Dreams Fund. The program will include interactive learning experiences which will inspire, educate, and empower young women as they prepare for college and future careers.
The entire workshop, including lunch and transportation, is free and the girls will receive a signed copy of U Chic: College Girls’ Real Advice for Your First Year (and Beyond!)

College is the key to your child’s future, and can be anything from a one-year certificate to a four-year degree and beyond. To help make college a reality for every student, we are participating in Utah College Application Month during November.

November 1-3 will be "College Week" at LPHS.
On Monday, November 13th after school from 1:15 to 3:00 college reps and counselors will be available in the computer labs at LPHS to help seniors complete their applications. Sign up in the counseling office November 6-10 to reserve your spot.

Classes will be held from 2:30 to 4:00 pm in the Little Theater.
Each class is $15.00.

September 6 to October 17 counselors will be meeting with seniors and their parents individually for a 30 minute CCR (College & Career Ready) meeting. They will be checking graduation status, discussing post-high school plans, and giving important information about college entrance, scholarships, and career training opportunities.
