  • The food drive is happening now! Bring packaged food to earn Spirit Bowl points.
  • The October Driver Education class is open for registration. Go to the Lone Peak website and click on Resources, the Driver Education, and sign up. Be sure to sign up for both class and range. Email Dan Schoonover if you have any questions.
  • Congratulations to the winners of the National Guard push-up contest: Garren Perez with 42 push-ups and Shea Finnigan with 12 push-ups. Come to the front office to pick up your prize!
  • Blood Drive is on Monday October 7th in the little theater from 10:30-3:30! We need your blood! We give you great snacks and a free t-shirts! But you have to be 16 years old. Come sign up in the office or in Paskett’s room 901.
  • All ASL Honor Society forms and payments need to be turned into Mrs. Terry, room 911, by the 8th.

  • The volleyball game on October 1st at 6:00 counts for attendance school. Sign in with 5 star!
  • Sophomores – you will be taking the Pre-Act on October 2. Room assignments are now posted on the Attendance Office windows. Be sure to find your room before October 2. On October 2, plan to bring several number two pencils and an approved calculator.

  • Any senior interested in applying for Sterling Scholars; there’s a meeting on Wednesday the 18th at lunch, in Mrs. Wrights room- room 705.
  • Girls basketball open gym are on A days after school starting September 4th. Any 9th-12th grade girls interested in trying out for this years team should attend fall open gyms! Tryouts will be November 11th and 12th. If you have any questions contact Coach Warner.
  • Need some help with math? Visit the math lab after school Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. A teacher and student tutors will be available to give you individual help. Ask your math teacher about times and locations.

  • Football game tomorrow at 12! Our #28 ranked Knights play #21 Bishop Gorman! Its a blackout! Be there!
  • This Saturday many of our choir students will be selling all kinds of items at the annual Choir Yard Sale. They will be set up in the south parking lot by 7:00 am and ready to make all kinds of deals. Beginning around 8 am, some of our Chamber Choir students will also be holding a Car Wash in the parking lot on the east side of the building near the yard sale. the cost for the Car Wash is 10$/car. All of this is to help raise funds for their proposed spring tours for the Chamber Choir, A Cappella Choir, and Jazz/Show Choir. Come support the choir students as they work hard to go on tour!
  • Vote for your Sir Knight finalists! Voting ends today at lunch! Voting will be done of the 5 star app! 5 boys from each grade will be chosen!

  • If you are interested in wrestling this year for Lone Peak, the wrestling team will be having open mat technique and skills training on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to around 4:00 PM in the wrestling room. Any questions about wrestling, contact Coach Wallace in Room 905. Go Lone Peak Wrestling!
  • National honor Society applications and fees are due today! GPA requirements are 3.7 or more. Do not apply or pay if you do not meet this requirement. Letters for the Induction ceremony will be delivered to you next week.

  • There is a annual 9/11 memorial concert to commemorate the events of September 11, 2001. It is at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. The students will perform several pieces. Concert is free and will last no more than one hour.
  • This saturday the 14th there will be a annual choir yard sale. It will be in the south parking lot at 7:00am. Funds will go to the Choir.
  • the wrestling team will be having open mat technique and skills training on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00pm to 4:00pm in the wrestling room. Any questions? Contact coach Wallace in room #905.
  • Come Nominate your friends for Sir Knight during lunch! or drop it off in the front office!
