  • Need a little yoga in your life? Another section of yoga has opened up for semester 2-period B6. Talk to your counselor to be added to the class.
  • Jump rope competition in the commons today during lunch and first 300 participants get a treat!

  • The visual Arts Winter Show will be on display in the commons from Wed. Nov. 20-Tues. Nov. 26. Anyone can submit, even if you aren’t currently in an arts class. All pieces must be submitted to a Visual Arts teacher by Monday, Nov. 18. This is a great chance to have your work displayed in the school, and prizes will be awarded as well!

  • Attention students, the finance office has tickets for this Friday’s football game against Corner Canyon. Tickets are $5.00 and will be sold during lunch and during class breaks. If you would like to purchase a ticket to ride the spirit bus, you can purchase it with your game ticket for $2.00.

  • ASL Honor Society is collecting items to donate to a local domestic violence shelter that helps deaf women and their children escape abusive relationships. There are flyers in the halls with a list of items we are hoping will be donated. We are especially looking for new chap sticks, small hand sanitizer bottles, and small games or toys that could help distract or comfort children caught in these situations. If you can help we would really appreciate it! Items can be dropped off in Ms. Terry’s room or the front office until October 31st. You can email Ms. Terry with questions.
  • Lone Peak Wrestlers! Those athletes interested in Wrestling for the Lone Peak Knights Wrestling Team this year should stop by Coach Wallace’s room, 905 in the trailers, to sign up and get information on this years season. The season starts November 11th and you need to have your Register My Athlete completed as well as a current physical. Come talk to Coach Wallace and he will give you all the information you need to join this years Lone Peak Wrestling Team. Go Knight Wrestling!
  • Attention Wrestling Managers and Stats People! The Lone Peak Wrestling team is looking for a couple of individuals to help out this year as managers and stats people for a dual meets and tournaments. If you are interested in helping out the Wrestling Team, please stop into Mr. Wallace’s room, 905 in the trailers, for more information.
  • The November Driver Education class is open. Sign ups for the class will close this Friday so sign up soon! The November Range is already full, so if you want to do range before the end of the year, be sure to sign up for the December range as soon as you can! Email Dan Schoonover with any questions.

  • All girls who are interested in learning about tackle football, please join the F.F.E. club on Thursday October 10th, at 2:30-3:30 in Room 614. If you have any questions contact Aysha Burke or Makayla Burke. Free nachos and soda will be provided.
  • Juniors, if you tend to do well on standardized tests and want a scholarship for college, take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 16th. If you score High enough, you will be a semi-finalist for the National Merit Scholarship.Sign up for paying $25 in the finance office. See Mrs. Tucker in counseling for questions

  • The October Driver Education class is open for registration. Go to the Lone Peak website and click on Resources, the Driver Education, and sign up. Be sure to sign up for both class and range. Email Dan Schoonover if you have any questions.
  • Congratulations to the winners of the National Guard push-up contest: Garren Perez with 42 push-ups and Shea Finnigan with 12 push-ups. Come to the front office to pick up your prize!
  • Blood Drive is on Monday October 7th in the little theater from 10:30-3:30! We need your blood! We give you great snacks and a free t-shirts! But you have to be 16 years old. Come sign up in the office or in Paskett’s room 901.
  • All ASL Honor Society forms and payments need to be turned into Mrs. Terry, room 911, by the 8th.

  • Sophomores- You will be taking the PreACT on October 2. Room Assignments are now posted on the Attendance Office windows. Be sure to find you room before October 2. Also remember to bring several number two pencils and an approved calculator.
