  • Hey loverbugs, cone to the school store during lunch to receive a free Crumbl cookie with the purchase of a LP thread wallet
  • Girls soccer parent/player meeting will be February 24th at 6:30, this is open to any player interested in trying out this fall
  • Softball tryouts will by 2/24 at 3-5 PM and 2/25 from 2:30-5:15 PM
  • If you want to run for student council for the 2020-2021 school year come pick up packets in the front office after school today!
  • Congratulations to girls swim for placing 2nd at the 6A state championship. AND Congratulations to our boys team for winning state for the 4th year in a row!
  • Rex Brunsdale, Kevin Dew, Josh Griener and Jordan Tiffany were all members of the championship 200 medley and 400 free relay, Josh won the 200 IM and 100 Breastroke setting a new school record. Jordan won 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke. Setting 3 state records, All-American status and also named 6A swimmer of the year!

  • Girls soccer player meeting will be Feb. 24 at 6:30, this is open to any player intending to play this fall
  • Softball tryouts will be Feb 24 from 3-5 and Feb 25 from 2:30 to 4:15
  • The Chamber singers are selling singing valentines all week during lunch in the commons. For $2.00 you can get a valentines card, a large and delicious lollipop, and have the chamber singers sing a special valentine wish to your special someone. Singing Valentines will be delivered on Thursday and Friday this week.
  • Hey lover bugs! Come to the school store during lunch to receive a free crumble cookie with a purchase of a lone peak hoodie.
  • Seniors, we have several local scholarships available right now. The Cole Merrill memorial scholarship due Feb 28. the Utah valley exchange club scholarship due Feb 21st. The Graf orthodontics scholarship open to all patients of Graf orthodontics due march 15th. The sons of the Utah pioneer creative arts and pioneer values scholarship, due march 26th. For information and applications, see Cathryn tucker in the counseling center.

  • It is Hope Week this week! Today we are celebrating being united as a school by wearing Lone Peak colors. Bring you parents and a friend and come to our Knight of hope at 6:00 p.m. tonight. This is a mental health awareness night with some great speakers and resources we  all can benefit from. Tomorrow, Friday, We are celebrating togetherness. Life’s a beach when we’re together! Wear your best beach attire (that meets LP’s dress code) think tourist, hawaiian ware-and join us in the Black gym for lunch limbo and pizza while it lasts. Prizes will be awarded!
  • Boys volley ball is starting this week! Look for signs on the bulletin boards for dates and times. Last year we were the Region Champions and this year we are planning on being the High School Boys Volleyball State Champions!

Wear Lone Peak Colors to support being united as a school. Positive message for today: If someone doesn’t have a smile, give them one of yours!
  • Come support our wrestling team tonight. It’s senior night. Congrats seniors on a great season! The match will begin at 7:00 in the Maroon Gym.

  • Hey knights! Come audition for the knight show, our schools annual variety! Auditions are the 21st or 22nd after school. Sign up by scanning the QR code on the knight show posters around the school and in the front office.
  • The chevaliers are competing at the region drill competition on January 21st at 5 pm at Skyridge High School. Purchase your tickets at the finance office for $6.00. This event will also count as an attendance activity. Go Drill!
  • You won’t want to miss Lone Peak’s first annual lip sync battle! Students, teachers, and staff will be doing a head to head battle to win the title of Lip Sync Champ! It is based on audience vote so make sure you come and vote for your favorite performers. It’s January 16th at 7 pm in the auditorium. $5.00 with student ID!
